About this tool
Generate a PIX QR code and the PIX copy-and-paste code to receive payments in Brazil, with optional amount and description. The code follows the Central Bank's BR Code (EMV) standard and works with any bank app.
It's great for quick charges, small shops and events, and for developers testing static PIX parsing. The key, name and city are saved only in your browser for next time.
How to use
- Enter the PIX key (CPF, CNPJ, email, phone or random key) — the type is detected automatically.
- Fill in the recipient name and city as registered with the bank.
- Optionally set the amount, identifier and a description.
- Copy the code or download the QR code as PNG and test it in your bank app.
Frequently asked questions
Does the PIX QR code work with any bank?
Yes. It follows the Central Bank's BR Code standard, with the CRC16 checksum at the end, and is read by every PIX-enabled app.
Does the money go through GeraDev?
No. The code only contains your key and the data you entered; the payment goes straight from the payer's bank to your account. Nothing is sent to our servers.
Can I leave the amount empty?
Yes. Without an amount, the payer types it in the app. With an amount, it comes pre-filled.
Do phone keys need +55?
No: numbers with area code are converted automatically to the +55 format required by PIX.
